Downtime Prevention with Smart Performance and Monitoring
Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms enable predictive maintenance and ensure consistent performance. The unit continuously monitors changes in motion duration, adjusting the drive profile as needed to continue meeting or exceeding specifications, including bounce threshold. The unit also triggers an alert when it detects wear, preventing costly unplanned downtime.
Reduces Power and Infrastructural Costs
The unit’s low voltage and current requirements reduce installation and energy costs, enabling narrower-gauge wire and smaller, less expensive power supplies to be used. Integral energy storage allows power to be “sipped” slowly during the entire cycle and used instantaneously when needed. An integrated drive unit eliminates the need for an external solenoid driver, control box, and assembly labor. Because Solligence is bistable, power is only required to change positions — not to hold the unit in place — resulting in extremely low heat dissipation. The unit’s integral energy storage effectively creates an “electronic spring” that can return it to a home position if power fails.
