The new FLT linear gantry moves working loads of 66 pounds at speeds of 32.8 feet per second in the x-axis direction, and 14.8 feet per second in the y-axis direction.
The fast acceleration in both horizontal and vertical directions is created by an air-cooled linear engine while an integrated measuring system ensures exact positioning of the track carriage at every time.
Carbon fiber in the track carriage reduces vibrations and the overall weight of the unit. The system is ideal for machine or press loading, piece picking, automatic warehouse insertion, or transport and handling.
