The 1214P rugged mobile computer by JLT Mobile Computers features a touchscreen made of the latest generation Projective Capacitive Touch technology, giving the user an experience closer to consumer devices.
The screen is protected by a 0.07-inch thick hardened glass cover that prevents scratches, scuffs or breaks. Like resistive touchscreens, the computer’s display can be operated with gloves in different materials and thicknesses, as well as in wet conditions.
Other highlights include a 64-bit Intel quad-core processor for enhanced performance and improved responsiveness, making the device ideal for applications from warehousing and food distribution to freezer storage and crossdocking.
The JLT1214 models incorporate the latest processor technology and the features required for a fast, trouble-free and cost-effective installation. Both can be supplied with an integrated, isolated 18-60 VDC power supply for electrical forklift installations or a non-isolated 9-36 VDC power supply for combustion-powered vehicles.
The JLT1214P features our PowerTouch™ display technology. It’s virtually unbreakable and provides a user-friendly experience even with a gloved hand. The PowerTouch display overcomes the most common failure point for rugged computers.
For extreme freezer storage and other sub-zero degree applications, the JLT1214N with heater gives you a heated display to prevent frost formation at low temperatures. The heating element activates automatically when the surrounding temperature approaches 0°C, enabling trouble-free operation in fluctuating temperatures, for example when going in and out of a blast freezer.
